Update on Evan...

Well, we went in on Wednesday night to the hospital thinking that Evan was planning an early visit, but got sent home. I had my routine doctor appointment Friday and they said that the way my previous delivery happened and the way things were progressing so far...probably another delivery around the actual due date of July 7. I'm hoping the time goes quickly. My fibro hasn't been too bad and I believe that I am just feeling the full effects of what all women go through during the last few weeks and are ready to be done. We will keep you updated...

Family Day at the Frederick Meijer Gardens

These were tubes you talk into and the people on the other side can hear you. Here's Joshua saying, "Mama!"
Then he came over to my side and shouted to papa

This morning we went to the Gardens and enjoyed a beautiful day. With the weekends dwindling down before Evan comes, we are trying to spend as much fun time with Joshua as we can. The Children's Gardens are fabulous and what a great place to wear out you 26 month old! In the end, we let him splash in a little fountain because we had prepared and brought along another dry outfit! Enjoy!

Summer fun!

So far, my baby brother isn't here yet. Mama says that it won't be long. Until he arrives, I have been keeping myself busy playing outside and enjoying the great weather!

We went with Ms. M and her family to the Rockford Summer Celebration parade. It was a lot of fun! I especially liked the fire trucks!

A Day at the Zoo!

This morning we went to the John Ball Zoo in Grand Rapids with Tim, Rachel, Rowan, and Amelia. Rowan and Joshua were so cute walking around holding hands.

He saw wallabies and one had a baby in her pouch.

Joshua wanted to pet the cow (who was in the "resting area") Maybe next time...

Rowan and Joshua running around the waterfall

We got to pet sting rays Hi Mia!

They had a "ripline" that went through the trees and so the three adults who weren't pregnant got to go. It was very cool! Here's Rachel harnessed up and ready to go...

T.J. waiting his turn...

There he goes!! Joshua thought it was pretty cool to look up and see his papa soaring through the trees.

Memorial Day weekend

Papa had to work over Memorial Day weekend, so we went south to visit Mimi and Grandpa. We had beautiful weather and spent a lot of time outside.

We also stopped by to visit my Great Grammy Eva

Vacation at Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

We spent one morning at a Children's Museum where Joshua had a blast climbing and exploring.

Joshua made it up all 114 steps to the top of the light house at Harbour Town and proceeded to run around the top 10 times...we, on the other hand, were exhausted!
In the center of Harbour Town, they had a large playground with a treehouse for the kids. In fact, the whole island was such a family friendly place with tons of things to do...we loved it!

What a beautiful day at the beach! The boys had a blast digging and playing in the sand. Joshua waded into the ocean with T.J. He was a little nervous of the waves at first, but did end up going in up to his waist.

My mom and dad watched Joshua one day so T.J. and I got to enjoy a beautiful day golfing and I didn't do so bad considering I was 6 and 1/2 months pregnant!
We truly had a wonderful time and Joshua did really well on the plane ride. We are looking forward to many fun memories in years to come at the condo.

HAPPY EASTER!

Coloring our eggs

Finding what the Easter Bunny brought

Joshua put egg stickers on Simon to make him feel festive :)

Joshua had a great time looking for eggs. We would have done it outside, but you know Michigan weather...we had snow on the ground

All in all, we all had a blessed Easter! Hope you did too!
